Ciao! Right now I am sitting drinking coffee in Örebro thinking about the crazy last days I had.
Thursday-Friday
Last Tuesday evening my car’s heating and ventilation system just stopped working. On Wednesday morning I felt that I really needed to fix the car because of the long travel to Stockholm for Easter camp that was expecting us during the weekend. I tried to call every car service station around, but every one of them was busy and couldn’t help me in such short notice. A rental car would have been too expensive, so we decided to leave anyway… it looked like spring was coming so we wouldn’t have been freezing that much! It is about 5 hours driving to Stockholm from where I leave, so we decided to split the travel and sleep in Örebro (where Nils sister has an apartment) and finish the drive the day after.

- Friday! This is how we woke up! It’s so typical! I have no ventilation and heat in the car and it snows more than on Christmas!
Just the day before I said “at least it doesn’t snow”!
The only thing we could do was to think positive and start driving. We brought a blanket and we had warm clothes on. With all the snowing every two minutes the windshield became all foggy, and without the ventilation we had to pull it down to make some fresh air come in to the car. The problem was that it was minus degrees and it was snowing inside! So the windshield started getting frozen!❄️
That’s how it goes when dance calls and normal daily problems become secondary!
Saturday-Sunday-Monday
Once we arrived in Stockholm I dropped Nils by the Chicago Swing Dance Studio on Hornsgatan and I went to park the car. The next thing that happened is that I got lost in the parking house. It was Easter Friday so there was no people around, I were 3 floors underground and I couldn’t find the exit. It was like being trapped in a maze! I called Nils and he just laughed at me and hung up the phone (that’s just Nils, he makes fun of me all the time). This kind of stuff is kind of typical of me, for example I kind of often get myself locked inside bathrooms or find myself in awkward situations. 😭 After going around looking for the exit for about 20 minutes I found it and walked to Chicago. Later in the evening we went to the hotel and the first thing that happened there is that I fell of the stairs because I stepped on my too long coat. “Hahaha” was Nils reaction. 😑
Every year the Chicago Dance Studio, most famous swing dance studio in Stockholm and Sweden, has an Easter Camp (Påsklägret) and this year we got to teach there. It was inspiring to be there for three days, we met a lot of amazing dancers and teachers, good bands and one of the best DJs around, Big Papa Mac! There was a lot of people both during days and nights, the classes also went very good!

Dear God! It was really amusing to read this “Easter-part” of your blog, Bianca! I understand that every moment wasn’t too fun when things like that were happening, but written down it indeed made a really good story!😅
