September 2015 was when I first travelled overseas, to Los Angeles and it was just amazing. I thought I could share with you some pictures that always make me happy when I look at them!
We arrived late at night, we had to wait one hour for the shuttle that took us to the hotel!
The reason why we travelled to Los Angeles was Camp Hollywood. This dance camp is probably one of my favourite events. It is located in a beautiful hotel, there are dance classes with the best teachers around during days, competitions and social dancing during the evenings. Days at Camp Hollywood pass by too fast.
This is our first year Open Strictly Lindy final at Camp Hollywood. I love that so many couples can get to the final, it gives a lot of energy and a great show! I felt lucky to be surrounded by amazing dancers and to have danced to Jonathan Stout’s band.

Unfortunately we didn’t stay long, school duty was calling me back home to Sweden! But I promised myself I would have came back.
One year later…

We rent a car together with Anna, Jakob, Felix and Ella!
Jack, a swing dancer from LA is the guy that was hosting us. Compared to the year before Jack made it possible for us to live some “L.A. life”. A part from going to the Universal Studios we didn’t do any tourist things. For example we went to eat to places Jack and his friends normally go, we went vintage shopping or just relaxed at the beach. This totally made the all experience much more worth it and real.
Jack has been the best host! He always had great ideas for activities and things to do and he took us to beautiful places. He is the most generous person, thank you Jack! If this time in LA became so good and unforgettable is also because of him!
We went to practice some airsteps with Jack!

Downtown L.A.
Camp Hollywood of course happened again and we went there! It was as good and inspiring to be there as the previous year!
At Camp Hollywood this is what you do while you are not dancing ⬇️

To finish I thought I could share my ice cream passion with you guys. That day I found a huge ice cream.

Los Angeles kind of became the place that I want to visit at least once a year thanks to Camp Hollywood, the amazing people there and the beautiful places. 🌴 I’m extremely thankful I get to travel and experience all this in my life.
Lovely photos!
